This Privacy Policy explains how SenseJourney (“the App”, “we”, “our”) handles your information when you use the application.
SenseJourney is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable laws in Portugal and the European Union.

By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.


1. Overview

SenseJourney is a wellbeing and emotional-tracking application that stores all personal mood records, notes, and wellbeing data locally on your device.
We do not collect, store, or transfer any personal emotional data to our servers or to third parties.


2. What Data We Store

2.1 Locally stored data (never sent to us):

The following information is stored only on your device:

  • Mood entries
  • Emotional records
  • Notes and tags
  • Sleep, wellbeing, stress, and energy values
  • Usage preferences
  • App settings

We do not have access to this data.

If you delete the App, all stored data will be permanently removed from your device.


3. Data Related to Purchases (Apple & RevenueCat)

SenseJourney uses Apple In-App Purchases and RevenueCat to manage subscription validation.

3.1 What Apple may process

Apple may collect information related to:

  • Purchase history
  • Subscription status
  • Apple ID region and payment settings
  • Device identifiers

3.2 What RevenueCat receives

RevenueCat receives only subscription-related information, such as:

  • Product ID (monthly/yearly Premium)
  • Transaction status
  • Subscription expiration date
  • Anonymous app-specific user identifier

RevenueCat does NOT receive:

  • mood entries
  • emotional data
  • notes
  • wellbeing or sleep data
  • any personal information beyond what is required to validate purchases

4. We Do Not Collect Personal Data

SenseJourney:

  • does not collect personal data,
  • does not create user accounts,
  • does not store user information on external servers,
  • does not share data with advertisers.

No profiling, tracking, analytics, or remote logs of user emotional data are performed.


5. App Analytics

We may use limited, non-personal, aggregated analytics available through:

  • Apple App Store analytics
  • Crash logs (if user opts in through iOS settings)

These analytics do not contain emotional or sensitive data and are handled by Apple.


6. GDPR Rights

As a resident of the European Union, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Restrict processing
  • Object to processing
  • Data portability

Because the App stores all personal data locally, most GDPR rights are exercised directly by the user by:

  • Managing device storage
  • Deleting data inside the App
  • Deleting the App entirely

We cannot access, retrieve, or modify your data in any way.


7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect or store any personal information from children.


8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
If significant changes are made, we will update the date at the top of the document.

Continued use of the App signifies acceptance of the updated Policy.
